     just went to update my MD802 and see there is an option for "arm suit" . what is this

    It's the main software program, for the arm processor. It is named this way, because apparently they use multiple CPU platforms to compile the software for. 
    So, it's the main software that the device runs. Usually the Update Suite installs this first and then updates what needs to be updated on top of it.
